Canine Myofascial Kinetic Lines.
A new tool to understand and treat compensations, imbalances and dysfunctions in the locomotion system of the dog.

An improved understanding of the fascia system in relation to body functions e.g. locomotion and posture is essential nowadays. The myofascial lines interact in a full-body network spanning from top to toe, inside to outside, and they balance each other in every direction – in standing and motion.
In this 2 days course the anatomy of the canine kinetic myofalines, the tests and treatments will be scial brushed up shortly and hereafter we will spend the rest of the two days doing intense practical work with the dogs: Locate the lines, watch and understand the posture and compensations, palpate, test, treat and evaluate the lines and the body flexibility before and after treatment.
To attend the course, it is mandatory to have a detailed knowledge of the fascia structure and function as well as the anatomy of the lines. Further information will be offered before the course starts.

In diesem Praxisseminar werden die Grundlagen, Indikationen und Anwendungsbeispiele der extrakorporalen Stoßwellentherapie vorgestellt. Die moderne Stoßwellentherapie ist ein wichtiger Baustein der integrativen multimodalen Schmerztherapie. Das Einsatzgebiet in der Kleintiermedizin ist breit gefächert und reicht vom geriatrischen Patienten bis zum Sporthund. Die Therapie wird eingesetzt bei Insertionstendopathien, Arthrosen, Post-OP, Muskelpathologien bis hin zu neurologischen Patienten. Der Kurs wird als interaktives Seminar stattfinden. Einzelne Praxisfälle werden gemeinsam am Hund erarbeitet. Die praktische Umsetzung findet, unter der Leitung von Dr. Barker-Benfield und Dr. Elisabeth Binder gemeinsam mit David Lindner, in Kleingruppen am Hund statt.
